Absolutely.

I think that one of the reasons we are so averse to death is the term “death” itself is misleading; we fail to see that death means much more LIFE than it does “death”; that in order for life to push through and manifest, that there was to be a “death” of sorts. Nature teaches us this in a million ways. But we have ego to contend with, and a formidable contender it is! I have named mine, and try to be constantly aware of its presence. It’s simply the reality; to deny it is a disservice.
