Hello Nhan,

I am sorry I mislead you to believe that there was luxury and glory associated with my experience. While I did try to make the best of it, and while it was voluntary, it was not a vacation, neither could I stop it at any moment. I am not enlightened, so I don’t think that I had an enlightenment experiment. It was incredibly hard work, and there were innumerable painful moments. We learn through suffering, and sometimes we cannot avoid it any way we try, so we might as well be bold and suffer with boldness.

Did it feel good to have a place to come “home” to after four months? Yes, very much indeed, surely this cannot be misinterpreted.

I have a great interest in the intersection of psychology, philosophy, religion, social structures of power, and fear: the bait that catches us everywhere.
