I started journaling on my 11th birthday. I had no idea it would save my life.

I have accumulated many thousands of pages since, some of them accounts of precipitous times of fundamental changes in my life. At times, my journals felt like the only companions I had.

I see the need to write in a more outlined manner. I currently have eleven different notebooks each with a specific purpose. I don’t want to keep eleven going always; perhaps I am just shifting in the way I save/write/imprint things.

Some things we imprint for the future, but many we imprint just for the moment in which we write them and we never see them again.

EXCELLENT article Ryan.

Thank you.

I have a great interest in the intersection of psychology, philosophy, religion, social structures of power, and fear: the bait that catches us everywhere.
