Outstanding content and admonitions.

Very useful.

But I am not feeling that ousting passion altogether is purely for good without suffering some loss. I want to believe (and not be deluded while I do), that passion that is made temperate with purpose makes an ideal combination.

We can hardly say that Gandhi, Jesus, and even Winston Churchill had no passion, but it was far from a silly egoic one; but a calling to be the leaders that time required, and it was not in the least in their selfish personal interest.

Sometimes language begins to fail us, when we delve into the ineffable, where perhaps the highest forms of passion and purpose are fused together, like precious metals.

I have a great interest in the intersection of psychology, philosophy, religion, social structures of power, and fear: the bait that catches us everywhere.
