You compel me to respond Jalpan :-).

I can only use my own as an example. My profile, I am told, is “different”. I cannot stand the idea of talking about myself directly, (and oh so subjectively), so I share ideas, experiences, aspirations, and some of my philosophies, not exclusive to relationships.

This allows me to see a “profile” of my responders that they don’t intend to give me. Some don’t read, they just go for the photo. I find this incomprehensible. What are these gentlemen expecting? What is their thought process? “Let me just ignore her profile and tell her instead how hot I find her; that oughta do it”… :-O!!!!

But then there are the ones who have not only read, but often re-read and been touched by what they’ve found, even between the lines, etc. that only a good observer can detect. Those are response-worthy every time regardless of anything.

They may say something like, “even though not exactly like yours, I had an experience where I ……”, etc. thus opening up about their own lives and SHARING. This is always a good sign.
